Data returned by the OnCoord API is sourced from open datasets that require attribution if you publicly display or redistribute the results (e.g., on a map or in a report). For most personal or internal uses, no action is needed. If you plan to share or publish geocoded data, please review the linked licenses to ensure compliance.
OpenAddresses is “the free and open global address collection.” It aggregates street addresses, house numbers, postal codes, and coordinates from official sources.
In Latin America, data is indexed from governments in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and others.

The Copernicus GLO-30 DEM is a
global digital elevation model at 30-metre resolution derived from the TanDEM-X mission.
It is used by OnCoord to provide elevation, slope, and aspect data via the

NASA Black Marble VNP46A4
is an annual gap-filled composite of VIIRS Day/Night Band radiance at ~500m resolution,
produced by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. It is used by OnCoord to provide activity
levels and development index scores via the
/v1/activity endpoint.
This dataset is in the public domain with no restrictions on use or distribution. Attribution is not required but is recommended.
OnCoord sources point-of-interest (POI) data from public websites. This enriches OnCoord’s index with detailed amenity listings and business locations.
